As I stepped into Alder Forest the day coming to a close, I witnessed an array of light that made the Forest seem alight in flames.

To capture this moment in time, I created some eco-dyed prints, using rust, red wine and some late wild blackberry leaves on some vinegar soaked re-cycled cotton. Over time the colours developed and with my organic embroidery I tried to explore the original experience in several pieces.
